How this site earns, named vendor by vendor
Some destination platforms pay us referral commissions; the platform we help you leave pays us nothing and never will. The full list, and the rules the money lives under, are below.
Listlift is reader-supported through affiliate partnerships with some of the platforms we compare. When you follow one of our /go/ links — always marked sponsored — and sign up, that vendor pays us a commission from its own pocket. The price you see at the vendor is set by its pricing page, not by which link brought you there.
Who pays us
As of September 23, 2026, this site has (or is establishing, under its own account) referral arrangements with eight platforms: MailerLite, Sender, Moosend, EmailOctopus, GetResponse, AWeber, ActiveCampaign and HubSpot. Those are the only links on this site marked sponsored.
Who pays us nothing — starting with Mailchimp
Mailchimp pays this site nothing, is not linked from this site at all, and that's policy rather than accident: a site whose subject is leaving Mailchimp should not have a financial tie to it in either direction. Its name appears here nominatively — to identify the product being discussed — and its prices are quoted from its public pricing page with the date we read them. Brevo is the next name on that list, and for a reason worth stating: its referral programme only admits sites that already have traffic, so no paid relationship exists between us — and we will not mark a link sponsored to imply one that doesn't. Brevo keeps its full section in our comparison and its own head-to-head guide, and where we point you at it we use an ordinary outbound link to brevo.com that earns us nothing. Constant Contact is likewise unlinked and unpaid: we haven't verified a partner programme for it, so it appears in our comparison as plain text. Where a free tool or a stay-put recommendation is the honest answer, we say so, and nobody pays us for that either.
The rules the money lives under
Commissions never set an order, a score or a verdict — our cheapest-first tables regularly lead with lower-commission vendors, and three of the names our comparison leans on hardest (Mailchimp, Brevo, Constant Contact) pay nothing at all. We publish no coupon codes and no "exclusive discount" offers, run no ads on vendor brand names, and quote every price from the vendor's page rather than a promotional feed. When a partnership would require softening any of that, we skip the partnership and keep the sentence.
How to see it working
Every affiliate link on this site goes through a /go/ address and carries rel="sponsored nofollow" markup, so both you and search engines can tell disclosure-grade links from editorial ones. Plain links to vendor documentation and pricing pages are just links. If you ever find a partner link somewhere these rules say it shouldn't be, tell us — that's a correction like any price error.
